The European Information Centre is designed to contribute in the briefing of the wider area of the region of Crete on issues, policies, programs and initiatives of European Union in regard to all sectors of her action. Apprises about institutional subjects, agriculture, forestry and fishery, employment and labour, community right, finances, environment, information, education, youth, training, statistical etc.
For the achievement of these objectives EUROPEAN INFORMATION CENTER plans:
-Inform students about Europe and European developments
- Organization of workshops on the occasion of some European dates as well as global interest
- Events
- Providing advice on issues primarily educational, training issues and guidance.
EUROPEAN INFORMATION CENTER allocates informative material with the form of brochures, posters and cd-rom and provides access to information, official documents and publications of the European institutions. Brochures and forms are available to the public FREE.
